I can't turn off the Japanese subtitles on this copy from iTunes, so sometimes I humor myself and read along, which leads to occasional face-palms. One of the biggest ones:
To the nearest North point
And that's where you'll find the...tree?"
Now, I admit it sounds like Mouth says "tree" and not "treat", but really?
Cultural references can be glossed over, but some of these...
Later on Chunck says "We've got to" and it's translated "I wanna go home".
This is why I tell clients to not use Japanese subtitles.

After the wonder that is the Creators Market, I have the same amount of stuff to do, but rather than feeling pressured to find time for it, I'm eager to make time for the things I want to do.
So today is one lesson, then heading back to the house to rearrange my desk, write the podcast script, type up the radio script, write some letters and postcards, and write some blog posts.
It's going to be a good day.

I needed to get food today anyways, so instead of just calling, I put a load of laundry into the wash, walked down to the burger place, put in the reservation, got a burger to go, picked up a coke at the supermarket, came back to the house, hung my wash up to dry, and now I'm taking a burger lunch break (so good!).
So, just cleaning my room gets boring and my already short attention span gets shorter, so I tend to pop a well-watched movie in and The Goonies is a classic. But my copy is Region 2 and my computer is American. I finally bit the bullet a few days ago and got it off iTunes (so expensive!).
So now I'm eating a burger and fries with a coke while watching The Goonies (so American). :)

And it's a fruitful walk. Found a new cafe to check out and some pretty hydrangeas.
Today's schedule consists of three lessons, then proofreading, editing and translating, and then cleaning. Also, picking up a shelf at the 100yen shop.

In anycase, I admit it, I cried when I read the last chapter of this volume. That was seriously cruel. When I first read it, I was on the train and almost started sobbing. And the back cover...dude...
Now to reread some ONE PIECE.
Gotta clean my room tomorrow, but if I get to the closet, I'm getting volume 4 for myself. Only two more until I'm caught up. What to read after that?
Actually, I haven't finished the Complete edition of Ghosthunt yet, so that's probably next.

I know it's not going to be this nice in July and August, but it'll be better than the evenings.
Staying in Nagoya this week, despite it being my off week, to give my room a proper cleaning.
And to focus for the next few days, today I am watching a movie, maybe two, and painting my nails.
Also, just got on an earlier train and have proven to myself once again that the 5.56 is way more crowded than the 6.06. Bah!
And now to read more Biblia.

It's been a while since I squeed this much. So good!
And the fact this takes place in a used bookstore makes me even happier.

But this time I'm going to be good and just get Volume 2 tomorrow, not do my usual thing and buy the rest of the series. If I buy them all, I'll stay up all night tomorrow reading all of them.
So, so good!
