Personal Training: Roll-up Week 4

On my way to Tokyu Hands after the 4th week of trying to do a roll-up. Slow but sure progress.

In the end, the whole thing is exposing the weak spots to work on, so that's great.

Seven months since I started, I feel better, I don't get as physically tired, I've lost about 5kg, I naturally want to eat better, my confidence has gone up, my body is behaving, stairs are no longer daunting, and I'm actually wanting to get out of bed.

And while I drink protein as I write this, I still dislike putting aside time for exercise and my poor trainer is constantly thinking of ways I can train on my commute and at work. He's awesome.

Awesome day!

Had an awesome day that involved lasagna, ninja stars, the cutest ninja EVER, strawberry sweets, purikura, and Into the Woods. Awesome!

Curled my hair again. Not as good as yesterday, but today's more casual. I love feeling like I have a weekend. It's been ages. I need to do this more often.

So we've got a full day today. Don't know if I'll blog it, but I will latergram some parts. It's going to be awesome.

Lunch date!

Heading out to have lunch with a good girl friend. A bit fancy, so I dressed up, but just lunch, so only a bit. But I curled my hair.

SorryNotSorry about the look on my face in the pic. Love my hair in curls. Less than a month before I get a perm! Though I am sorry I didn't get a clear picture of my dress. Maybe later.

I figured out just how much I don't dress up as I dug through piles of untouched clothes and struggled with shoes. Eep.

I admire people who dress up every day. Though it's probably like how I think about stationery every day. When it's what you like, it's not a bother or a chore; it's a way of life.

梨汁ブシャー!

So there's a Funassy (sp?) Cafe. Since we experienced the awkwardness of the My Melody Cafe, my friend and I decided to keep with the trend. Plus I like ふなっしー (screw writing that name in English).

It was just as weird and awkward as the My Melo Cafe, but I fully accept ふなっしー being awkward. I'll post an Instagram or two with examples, but here's two pics to get you started.


Afterwards, we spent a satisfying few hours wandering around until my training session where I failed yet again to do a roll-up.

Retail Therapy

Just bought a few things I've been wanting and let myself loose on the stationery floor.

Also picked up a little something to help me stretch in the morning and before bed.

Now I'm walking one station's worth because I can't be bothered to transfer trains. It's not that cold anymore and I can use the exercise.

I'm not way concerned about my weight, but I gained 2kg from the last time I was at my grandmother's. It was all that rice and sheer lack of movement. This morning I was down 1kg, so some of it was temporary, but yeah. Learned my lesson. With the nicer weather, I've got no excuse to be lazy. Grr, says lazy me.

But it's never too late to build good habits. Let's see where this takes me.
